How do we re-establish connection when communication breaks down?

If we feel resentful or victimized by an interaction or lack of response, we are not asking ourselves these 3 critical questions: what’s my unfulfilled expectation in this situation, or, what intention isn’t being realized that I am disappointed or frustrated about? or, what do I need to say that I am not saying?

When there is a communication breakdown, how do we re-establish trust? It is personally challenging to recognize and own our 50% contribution to all breakdowns in which we are involved… Continue

Looking for stories

I am embarking on writing a book. If you have had a custom home built or gone through an extensive remodel, I would like to interview you about the experience.
If you are a custom builder, I would like to interview you about your experience of being in the custom building field.
Of course, all will be held in the strictest confidence. If your story is used, no names will be used.

Thanks so much.

Unleashing Thwarted Self-Expression

In reflecting on the wave of creativity that has entered my life particularly over the past year, I extend much gratitude to my music teacher, Sue Lundquist, who has mentored my musical expression through Afro-Cuban drumming and singing. With the safety of her loving presence and teaching, my courage amassed enough volume to cause yet another breakthrough in self-expression through singing. What was fearful, no longer is, and again the Joy is immense! I now LOVE to sing in public. I used to be p… Continue

Awakening to The Creative

The Improv Painting experience has been my doorway to finally recognizing the creative continuum that moves through me. My passion is to never stop expressing the creative birthright that is Life. My task is to say YES, to practice getting out of the way and to allow the Greater field of expression to make itself known. I stand in service to infinite self-expression and the Joy it brings. I must live passionately, or cease to be. I invite you to do whatever it takes to live in service to your ow… Continue

Did 2 project completion coaching sessions online with my 2 new long distance clients using Skype, Mind Meister and Vyew. Worked like a charm. I love doing this. One client said that now that she has a written plan with her tasks broken into small action steps, completion dates and a follow-up phone check-in structure she felt incredible relief & happiness. She shared that life looked great again and realized, by contrast, just how much stress and tension she had been holding for a very long time! :) The gifts of being in service! Thanks to Meri Walker, the Virtual Meeting Coach and maven, I might add, for teaching me what I needed to know to work online easily with others.

Great news!! Hope it goes very well! StepRep is a local directory/social network that allows you to build the reputations of people/services/products that you find valuable - and for others to do the same for you. It's heavily tied into the Google search and helps you move up your website page rank on non-paid searches. Wonderful thing! Let's have a quick coffee sometime soon and I'll catch you up on it.

Love seeing photos of your paintings, Susan! This is a great little meeting place. I've been coaching Mountain Meadows in the creation of it's own Ning since I got here. Do you know about the Medford Tribune's Ning? Or StepRep? If not, let me show you more...

Let's put a date on the calendar in the next two weeks to catch up live! I've been in a whirlwind since the move to Mountain Meadows. Too much fun and too many things to get rid of so I can fit into this lovely but small condo...

Missing you...would love to have you here for lunch in the clubhouse! When?

Immunization H1N1 Vaccine Update | Ashland High School

Commentary:

Be aware the H1N1 swine flu is being touted by government and health agencies worldwide as the next pandemic and are selling millions of vaccines. In our opinion the fear of pandemic is being intentionally created without considering the side effects and possible health consequences of this and other vaccines which remain controversial at best.

The Whole Foods Alternative to ObamaCare | Wall Street Journal

Mackey2With a projected $1.8 trillion deficit for 2009, several trillions more in deficits projected over the next decade, and with both Medicare and Social Security entitlement spending about to ratchet up several notches over the next 15 years as Baby Boomers become eligible for both, we are rapidly running out of other people's money. These deficits are simply not sustainable. They are either going to result in unprecedented new taxes and inflation, or they will bankrupt us.

Obama issues executive order exempting INTERPOL from the restraints of the Constitution and American law while operating in the U.S. | LiveLeak.com

During his presidency, Ronald Reagan granted the global police agency Interpol the status of diplomatic personnel in order to engage more constructively on international law enforcement. In Executive Order 12425, Reagan made two exceptions to that status. The first had to do with taxation, but the second was to make sure that Interpol had the same accountability for its actions as American law enforcement — namely, they had to produce records when demanded by courts and could not have immunity for their actions.
